Position: QA Automation Tester

Location: Chennai and Bangalore

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing and possess strong technical skills in programming languages like JavaScript and Python. Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, node.js, mobile automation testing tools, API testing tools, and CI tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub is required. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using programming languages such as JavaScript and Python.
• Utilize automation testing tools like Selenium and node.js to automate the testing process.
• Perform mobile automation testing for Android, iOS, and cross-platform applications.
• Create and execute API tests using tools like REST Assured, RestSharp, and jMeter.
• Integrate automated tests with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Utilize JIRA for defect tracking and task creation.
• Manage and maintain test documentation using Confluence.
• Utilize Zephyr as a test management tool for test case management and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and report software defects.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA automation techniques and tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong programming skills in languages like JavaScript and Python.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium and node.js.
• Experience with mobile automation testing tools for Android, iOS, and cross-platform applications.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like REST Assured, RestSharp, and jMeter.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Working knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and task management.
• Experience with Confluence for test documentation management.
• Proficiency in using Zephyr as a test management tool.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automation testing.
• Experience in working with ecommerce applications is a must.
• Familiarity with the offshore/nearshore/onshore model is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
