Position: QA Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, India

Responsibilities:

• Perform both automation and manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing objectives.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing.
• Execute test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve reported defects.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, including implementing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, feature discussions, and other team meetings to ensure quality standards are met.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback and suggest improvements for product enhancements.
• Provide regular status updates on testing progress and communicate any potential risks or challenges to the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in a software development or cloud solutions company.
• Strong experience in both automation and manual testing.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Familiarity with testing cloud-based solutions, including web applications and APIs.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) processes.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing results and issues.
