Position: QA Analyst III Experience: 4 to 6 years

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Analyst III to join our client’s team in Hyderabad. As a QA Analyst III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client’s software products. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual software testing for web, desktop, or mobile applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Independently support manual test efforts for multiple products with minimal supervision.
• Utilize test management tools like DevOps Test Plan, HP Quality Center, or TestRail to organize and manage test cases and results.
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of multiple products and effectively document, triage, and assess the risk of identified bugs.
• Collaborate with team members, acting as a supportive and productive team player with a focus on teamwork and integrity.
• Write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures to support testing efforts.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Act as an individual contributor, taking ownership of assigned tasks and delivering high-quality results.
• Propose, write, and review detailed test plans and test cases based on acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality products on multiple teams.
• Record, interpret, and report test results accurately, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
• Participate in cross-product manual regression testing efforts to ensure product stability and compatibility.
• Manage all aspects of production release testing and ensure environments and data are set up for testing needs.
• Audit and review unit tests to ensure code coverage and adherence to best practices.
• Write basic automated tests and debug failures in nightly automation runs.
• Contribute to improving the overall software test strategy, suggesting enhancements and innovative approaches.
• Demonstrate an understanding of complex testing concepts and effectively communicate and advocate for these concepts within the team.
• Take initiative to learn new technologies and concepts, share findings, and contribute to continuous learning within the organization.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manual software testing for web, desktop, or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in using test management tools like DevOps Test Plan, HP Quality Center, or TestRail.
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of coding languages like C# or a transferable language is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic automation testing concepts and tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to contribute to sprint planning and refinement meetings and provide valuable insights for testing.
• Passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Immediate availability or a notice period of 15 days preferred.
