Position: Performance Testing Expert

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking a skilled Performance Testing Expert to join our team. As a Performance Testing Expert, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the performance of our software systems. If you have a minimum of 4 years of experience in performance testing with JMeter, along with expertise in interpreting performance test reports, scripting, and working with tools like Jenkins and GCP, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance testing using JMeter to evaluate the performance and scalability of software systems.
• Interpret performance test reports and identify areas for improvement in metrics such as response time, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Suggest meaningful improvements and optimizations based on performance test results.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Java, Groovy, and BeanShell scripting languages.
• Utilize Jenkins and GCP for test execution and performance monitoring.
• Set up mock services and virtualization to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Perform Webservices/API testing using tools like Postman.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues.
• Utilize version control tools like GIT/Bitbucket for code management and collaboration.
• Assist with functional automation testing using JUnit, if required.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and take the initiative to close activities and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in performance testing, with a strong emphasis on using JMeter.
• Ability to interpret and explain performance test reports, and propose meaningful improvements based on metrics.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Groovy, and BeanShell scripting.
• Working knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and GCP for performance monitoring.
• Prior experience in setting up mock services and virtualization.
• Experience in Webservices/API testing using tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with version control tools like GIT/Bitbucket.
• Experience in functional automation testing using JUnit is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders and drive activities to closure.
