Calsoft is a leading technology services and solutions provider, and we are currently seeking skilled and experienced Networking Manual QA professionals to join our team in Kolkata. As a Networking Manual QA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our networking products and solutions by conducting manual testing and verification of various routing and switching protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Routing and Switching Protocols: Demonstrate deep expertise in routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, EVPN, MPLS, VRF, VXLAN, VLAN, etc. Understand the intricacies of these protocols and their implementation in networking devices.
- Hands-on Experience with SDWAN & Routing Technologies: Work with SDWAN and routing technologies to validate their functionality and performance. Troubleshoot and identify issues in these technologies.
- Test Plan and Test Case Creation: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications. Ensure test coverage and validity of test scenarios.
- Test Execution and Defect Reporting: Execute manual tests on networking devices and solutions. Identify, log, and report defects using appropriate defect tracking tools. Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Building Test Environments: Set up and configure routing devices and other networking equipment to create realistic test environments that mimic real-world scenarios.
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS: Familiarity with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, or IOS-XR is a significant advantage. Use this knowledge to enhance testing efforts and provide valuable insights into Cisco-based networking solutions.
