About the Company: TEKsystems is a leading IT staffing and services company. We are currently hiring for the position of Network Protocol Tester for our team in Bangalore. If you have experience in manual testing, specifically in network protocol testing, and possess knowledge of network IP configuration protocols, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Conduct manual testing of network protocols to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
2. Perform testing activities for various pillars, including network security, IP configuration, naming services, network discovery, network power management, wireless network security, and Wi-Fi Direct.
3. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality of network protocols.
4. Update and maintain test documentation as per project requirements.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
6. Identify and document defects, track their status, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
7. Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure the stability of network protocols.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze test requirements, ensuring that the test approach aligns with project objectives.
9. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in network protocols and testing methodologies.
10. Participate in team meetings and provide inputs to enhance the overall testing process.

Requirements:

1. 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, specifically in network protocol testing.
2. Strong knowledge of network IP configuration protocols such as IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, bootP, DNS, routers, switches, and FTP.
3. Experience in test planning, test execution, and test development activities.
4. Familiarity with network security, naming services, network discovery, network power management, wireless network security, and Wi-Fi Direct.
5. Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
