Position: Manual Tester
Location: Airoli Gigaplex, Navi Mumbai
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all functional testing activities, including static, system, and system integration testing.
- Perform a thorough analysis of requirements specifications and design documents to identify testable conditions.
- Apply structured testing techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of manual testing practices and methodologies.
- Learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Prioritize and manage multiple demands, shifting priorities, and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Escalate issues accurately and efficiently to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Understand the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
- Perform effectively under pressure and react appropriately in crisis situations.
- Create and deliver presentations as necessary.
- Engage and collaborate with virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Provide recommendations and analytical expertise on enhancement requests from Engineering.
- Challenge enhancement requests if necessary.
- Strong knowledge of manual API testing with proficiency in at least one tool.
- Strong knowledge of database testing and mobile testing.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS.
- Strong knowledge of project management software such as JIRA.
- Willingness to work from the office.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Proficiency in participating in all functional testing activities.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze requirements and design documents.
- Excellent knowledge of manual testing practices and methodologies.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
- Flexibility to manage multiple demands and shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues accurately and efficiently.
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle.
- Ability to work under pressure and react appropriately in crisis situations.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and providing solutions.
- Familiarity with manual API testing using relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of database testing and mobile testing.
- Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS.
- Proficiency in project management software such as JIRA.
- Willingness to work from the office.
