Position: SAP Functional Tester

Job Type: Contractual (100% Remote)

Job Overview: As a Test Captain in SAP Functional Testing, you will play a crucial role in managing and planning daily test execution, coordinating with testers, and preparing progress reports. Your expertise in SAP functional testing, along with your ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, will ensure the successful completion of testing activities. This is a contractual opportunity where you will have the flexibility to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SAP functional testing to execute and manage daily testing activities.
• Collaborate with testers to ensure proper governance and targets are met.
• Coordinate and prepare reports on testing progress with the support of Defect Chaser/Testers.
• Capture testing progress of end-to-end (E2E) scenarios in ALM/JIRA on a daily basis.
• Follow up on Change Requests (CRs) and gather updates on the resolution of critical and high-priority defects.
• Work closely with SMEs, Testers, and Tower Lead to expedite blockers/issues related to E2E test scenarios.
• Review and track testing progress at a detailed steps level.
• Conduct daily huddles with Testers to ensure smooth coordination.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to facilitate testing activities.
• Create daily and weekly status reports on testing progress and present them to management.
• Identify opportunities for Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).
• Optionally, review QA system requirements, readiness, and schedule.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in SAP Functional Testing.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP functional testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong understanding of ALM and JIRA tools.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate with testers and stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to capture and report testing progress accurately.
• Experience in managing critical and high-priority defects and CRs.
• Ability to review and track testing progress at a detailed steps level.
• Proficient in creating comprehensive status reports and presenting them to management.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Optional: Familiarity with reviewing QA system requirements, readiness, and schedule.

• Demonstrate Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) by identifying and implementing enhancements to the testing process.
