Position: Senior Performance Tester
Notice Period: Immediate
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Performance Tester to join our team. As a Senior Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our software systems. If you have expertise in Performance Testing with JMeter, strong scripting skills, and knowledge of related tools and technologies, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance testing activities using JMeter to ensure the performance and scalability of software systems.
- Interpret and explain performance test reports, providing meaningful insights and recommendations for improvements in performance metrics.
- Utilize your expertise in Java, Groovy, or BeanShell scripting to develop and maintain performance test scripts.
- Set up performance testing environments using tools like Jenkins and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with the development team to set up mocks and simulate real-world scenarios during performance testing.
- Conduct web services/API testing using tools like Postman to ensure the performance and reliability of APIs.
- Utilize GIT/Bitbucket for version control and collaborate effectively with the development team.
- Knowledge and experience in functional automation testing using JUnit is an added benefit.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills, taking the initiative to interact with necessary stakeholders to close activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of [Years of Experience] years of experience in performance testing, with a strong focus on JMeter.
- Expertise in interpreting and explaining performance test reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Strong hands-on experience in scripting using Java, Groovy, or BeanShell.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for performance testing setup.
- Prior experience in setting up mocks for simulating real-world scenarios during performance testing.
- Experience in web services/API testing using tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with GIT/Bitbucket for version control.
- Experience in functional automation testing using JUnit is an added benefit.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to take the initiative to interact with necessary stakeholders.
