Position: Manual Tester

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Manual Tester to join our team. As a Manual Tester at Velox Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and defect tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project specifications and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Use defect tracking tools to report and track issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
• Conduct system and integration testing to ensure seamless functioning of software components.
• Verify software functionalities and performance against documented requirements.
• Participate in the deployment of software releases, ensuring smooth and error-free implementation.
• Collaborate with clients to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Continuously enhance and update testing methodologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manual testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or a similar role, with 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
• Proficiency in using defect tracking tools to log and track issues.
• Familiarity with deployment processes and the ability to support software releases.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
