Position: Manual Tester
Location: Noida
9Yards Technology is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, and we are currently seeking an experienced Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in manual testing and possess strong skills in manual testing, API testing, database testing, Postman, and SQL. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Perform manual testing activities to identify and report software defects.
- Conduct API testing to validate functionality, performance, and integration of software components.
- Execute database testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Utilize tools like Postman and SQL for testing and validating API and database functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely resolution of defects and issues.
- Participate in agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to report test results, progress, and issues.
- Continuously improve the testing process and contribute to the overall quality of the software.
Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing, API testing, and database testing.
- Experience working with tools like Postman and SQL.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.
