Position: QA Engineer

Location: Chennai

Indsafri is a leading company in the industry and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. With a minimum of 4 years of experience, the ideal candidate should have expertise in Selenium with Java. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Design and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
• Utilize Selenium with Java to create and execute automated test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to identify software defects and ensure product stability.
• Conduct thorough manual testing to validate software functionality and usability.
• Report and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot software issues.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Selenium with Java for test automation.
• Proven experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual testing techniques to ensure software quality.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools to report and track software issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
