Position: Manual QA Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Hyderabad
Immediate joiners preferred
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain test packages including high and low-level test strategies, test case and test script design, development, and maintenance.
- Read, understand, analyze application architecture/design documents to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Understand various SDLC processes, testing methodologies, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Gain a deep understanding of the multiple layers of supporting applications, interfaces to other products and systems, different types of databases, and application development languages.
- Report any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements.
- Review and interpret all documentation including business requirements, functional and design specifications, etc.
- Perform maintenance and support duties as required.
- Ensure conformance and application of test process management tools, processes, and guidelines.
- Test all levels of complexity system applications and verify all output.
- Test web services using tools like SOAP UI.
- Ensure conformance and application of test process management tools, processes, and guidelines.
- Ensure conformance and application of RUP testing discipline standards.
- Perform content testing and administration tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective testing and quality assurance practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in manual testing.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Selenium, RTF, QTP VB Script, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Ability to analyze and interpret application architecture/design documents.
- Experience in reporting defects and ensuring compliance with business/functional requirements.
- Familiarity with web services testing using tools like SOAP UI.
- Knowledge of content testing and administration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing and security testing.
- Relevant certifications in manual testing.
