Position: Manual QA Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Hyderabad

Immediate joiners preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain test packages including high and low-level test strategies, test case and test script design, development, and maintenance.
• Read, understand, analyze application architecture/design documents to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Understand various SDLC processes, testing methodologies, quality standards, and industry best practices.
• Gain a deep understanding of the multiple layers of supporting applications, interfaces to other products and systems, different types of databases, and application development languages.
• Report any product defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements.
• Review and interpret all documentation including business requirements, functional and design specifications, etc.
• Perform maintenance and support duties as required.
• Ensure conformance and application of test process management tools, processes, and guidelines.
• Test all levels of complexity system applications and verify all output.
• Test web services using tools like SOAP UI.
• Ensure conformance and application of test process management tools, processes, and guidelines.
• Ensure conformance and application of RUP testing discipline standards.
• Perform content testing and administration tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective testing and quality assurance practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in manual testing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Selenium, RTF, QTP VB Script, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret application architecture/design documents.
• Experience in reporting defects and ensuring compliance with business/functional requirements.
• Familiarity with web services testing using tools like SOAP UI.
• Knowledge of content testing and administration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance testing and security testing.
• Relevant certifications in manual testing.
