Position: Manual QA Developer
Location: Jaipur
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications to identify software defects, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of our products.
- Execute test cases and report test results, clearly documenting defects and providing detailed steps to reproduce them.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects, validating fixes, and performing regression testing to ensure overall product stability.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues, usability problems, and areas for improvement in the user experience.
- Participate in requirement and design reviews, providing valuable feedback to improve the quality and effectiveness of the software.
- Continuously improve the QA process by suggesting and implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the QA team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Developer or similar role, with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and the ability to provide clear and concise defect reports.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for quality and a drive to continuously learn and improve testing processes and techniques.
