Position: Manual / Automation Test Engineer
Job Description: As a Manual / Automation Test Engineer at NityaObject, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software products through manual and automation testing. You will collaborate closely with the development team to design and execute test cases, identify and report defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automation test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and usability of our software products.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design test scenarios accordingly.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the testing process.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Continuously enhance the automation test framework and test scripts to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in manual and automation testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, tools, and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Manual / Automation Test Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing manual test cases.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Experience with test management tools, such as Jira or TestRail.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex systems.
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
