Position: Jr. Test Engineer

mPHATEK Systems is currently hiring for the position of Jr. Test Engineer. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing and expertise in Azure Board. As a Jr. Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure overall product quality.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand the project goals and requirements.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and strategies for different software projects.
• Identify and report software defects, track them to closure, and perform regression testing to ensure fixes are implemented correctly.
• Document test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
• Utilize Azure Board to track and manage test cases, bugs, and other testing-related activities.
• Collaborate with the automation testing team to identify areas where test automation can be applied effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Candidate Profile:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficient in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and test result analysis.
• Experience with Azure Board is essential for this role.
• Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with the latest trends in software testing.
