Position: Jr. QA Manual Tester

Job Description: As a Jr. QA Manual Tester at iProgrammer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the QA team to execute test cases, identify defects, and contribute to the improvement of our software testing processes. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be essential to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and document test results to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.
• Perform thorough regression testing to identify and report software defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
• Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to enhance test coverage and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to reproduce and debug issues, providing detailed information for root cause analysis.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and testing objectives.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in manual software testing or QA role.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in executing manual test cases and documenting test results.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools to log and track software defects.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and tools.
