Position: ETL Database Testing – Performance Testing

Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive test strategies to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data stored in the data warehouse.
• Develop and execute test cases to analyze and compare data between source and target systems within the data pipelines.
• Verify that the data is delivered in the expected format and structure, including transformations.
• Review existing data pipelines and quality assurance processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
• Design and implement new testing tools and processes to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Continuously improve testing processes to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain the automated test environment and perform tests based on the timing of data flow.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve bugs and improve data quality.
• Maintain comprehensive QA documentation and generate test reports for management.
• Provide support during the design, development, and production phases of data projects.
• Conduct performance testing of data pipelines to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
• Apply Agile methodology principles to ensure timely delivery and effective collaboration within the team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in ETL database testing, including performance testing.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration processes.
• Ability to create effective test strategies and develop comprehensive test cases.
• Experience in analyzing and comparing data between source and target systems.
• Proficiency in ensuring data accuracy and reliability throughout the data pipelines.
• Familiarity with reviewing and improving existing data pipelines and QA processes.
• Knowledge of testing tools and processes for data quality assurance.
• Ability to design and implement new testing tools and processes to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with developers for bug fixing.
• Proficiency in maintaining QA documentation and generating test reports.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology for efficient project delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
