Teksystems, a global provider of IT staffing and services, is currently hiring for the position of Server Support Engineer for a product-based client. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with 0 to 1 year of experience to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our client’s products.

Responsibilities:

As a Server Support Engineer at Teksystems, you will have the following responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for server-related issues.
2. Monitor server performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
3. Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
4. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups and system updates.
5. Diagnose and resolve server-related problems in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
7. Document and maintain server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
8. Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in server management.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

1. 0 to 1 year of experience in server support or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of server hardware and software, including operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux.
3. Familiarity with server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
4. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
5. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are a plus.
