Position: ETL Testing Engineer
Location: Chennai/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad/ Pune

Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and data engineers to understand requirements and ensure proper testing coverage.
- Identify and report defects, issues, and risks throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring they are properly tracked and resolved.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data consistency across various systems and databases.
- Design and maintain test data sets to support comprehensive testing of ETL processes.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing and the banking domain.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality assurance practices and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ETL testing, preferably in the banking domain.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and verification.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of various databases and data formats.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
