Position: OTT Testers

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Familiarize yourself with the domain, products, and use cases of the OTT platform.
• Design comprehensive test plans and execute them for new features, interfaces, and applications.
• Perform extensive functional testing across various browsers, devices, and OTT apps.
• Generate and analyze test reports to provide valuable insights to the development team.
• Track issues and collaborate with developers to identify root causes and ensure timely resolutions.
• Work closely with developers on automation tasks to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile tools and technologies, such as BrowserStack, to enhance app quality.
• Possess script development experience using testing frameworks like Appium and API test automation (a plus).

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of testing experience on mobile, connected TV, and Smart TV platforms.
• Previous experience working on a media or video-based app is a must.
• Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, and defect management.
• Proficiency in functional testing across multiple browsers, devices, and OTT applications.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to generate comprehensive test reports and provide valuable insights.
• Experience in collaborating with developers on issue tracking and resolution.
• Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks such as Appium is preferred.
• Familiarity with API test automation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
