Position: Salesforce Tester

Location: Remote WFH

Responsibilities:

• Test case authoring: Create and maintain comprehensive test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Defect management: Identify, track, and manage defects found during the testing process, ensuring their resolution.
• Manual testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of Salesforce applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• STLC – General Experience: Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and best practices.
• API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate integration between Salesforce and external systems.
• Scrum Development – General Experience: Collaborate with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Database Testing: Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce applications.
• Mobile Testing: Test Salesforce applications on mobile devices and ensure compatibility across different platforms.
• SQL: Proficient in writing SQL queries to validate data in Salesforce databases.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Develop test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Test Reporting: Generate test reports and provide clear documentation of test results and defects.
• Test Reviews: Participate in test reviews and provide feedback on test plans and test cases.
• Test Estimation: Assist in estimating testing efforts for projects and provide input for project planning.
• Testing KPIs: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to testing activities.
• Test Monitoring and Control: Continuously monitor and control the testing process to ensure timely and effective execution.
• Test Management: Use test management tools to organize and manage test cases, test data, and test environments.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate testing risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

1. Essential Skills:
   • Strong experience in Salesforce Testing.
   • Proficiency in test case authoring, defect management, manual testing, and STLC.
   • Experience in API testing, Scrum development, database testing, mobile testing, SQL, test planning and strategy, test reporting, test reviews, test estimation, testing KPIs, test monitoring and control, test management, root cause analysis, and risk management.
2. Optional Skills (One or more):
   • Experience with JIRA, QA Complete, IBM Rational Quality Manager, or Micro Focus ALM.
   • Proficiency in Postman or SOAP UI.
3. Test Management Tools (One or more):
   • Familiarity with Zephyr for JIRA, TestRail, TM4J, Xray, or ETL Testing.
