Position: ETL Testing Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced ETL Testing Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. As an ETL Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration solutions. You will work closely with the development and business intelligence teams to design and execute test plans, identify and report defects, and ensure the overall integrity of our data.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and ETL processes.
• Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL testing.
• Execute test cases and identify defects, ensuring thorough testing of data transformations, data loads, and data validations.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy by conducting data comparisons and reconciliations.
• Create and maintain test data sets to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of ETL solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes and provide inputs on test strategies and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing and data integration.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ETL testing.
• Strong experience (minimum 2 years) in SQL database testing.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data integration principles.
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, test processes, and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working in the banking domain is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects effectively.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
