Position: Software QA (ETL Testing/ETL Tester)

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Software QA (ETL Testing/ETL Tester) to join our team in Hyderabad. As a Software QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration solutions. You will work closely with the development team to perform manual testing of backend components such as SSIS packages, batch scripts, and SQL, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver end-to-end reporting solutions based on business requirements.
• Perform manual testing of backend components, including SSIS packages, batch scripts, and SQL queries.
• Test application functionality and validate data in reports.
• Understand the data model and write SQL queries to verify data accuracy.
• Execute test cases for ETL packages, batch scripts, and SQL queries.
• Work with MS SQL Server database and perform database testing.
• Identify and report defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of ETL solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in ETL testing and data integration.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in ETL testing or as an ETL tester.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
• Hands-on experience in manual testing of backend components such as SSIS packages, batch scripts, and SQL queries.
• Experience in testing application functionality and data validation in reports.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries to verify data accuracy.
• Familiarity with executing test cases for ETL packages, batch scripts, and SQL queries.
• Experience working with MS SQL Server database.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and report defects effectively.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
