Position: Senior Quality Analyst

Xceedance, a leading provider of insurance consulting and technology services, is currently seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Senior Quality Analysts. We are specifically looking for candidates with expertise in Database Testing and ETL Testing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least 5 years of relevant experience to contribute to the success of our projects and clients.

As a Senior Quality Analyst at Xceedance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely with our development and testing teams to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies, focusing on database and ETL testing. This role requires in-depth knowledge of database concepts, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for database and ETL testing.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to validate the accuracy and completeness of data transformations and data loads.
• Conduct thorough data validation and verification using SQL queries and other relevant tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand data models, and ensure data integrity throughout the testing process.
• Analyze test results, create test reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in database and ETL testing.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Strong expertise in database testing and ETL testing.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with ETL tools and frameworks, such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with data validation and verification techniques.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
