Position: ETL Tester

Location: Remote (Permanent)

Apptad, a leading technology company, is currently hiring for the position of ETL Tester. We are looking for immediate joiners who have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ETL testing. This is an urgent requirement for our remote team.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with technology stakeholders and business teams to identify test scenarios and regression test needs.
• Prepare test plans and end-to-end (E2E) test scenarios, reviewing them with the project team and obtaining sign-off.
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders and business teams to review the test coverage.
• Execute tests, document test results, and provide periodic test status updates.
• Validate data transformations and perform end-to-end data validation.
• Write complex SQL queries to retrieve and validate data.
• Ensure adherence to testing best practices and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements in ETL testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure ADF (Azure Data Factory) and ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and the ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
