Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Quality Tester (ETL Tester), your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including:

1. ETL Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
2. SQL Expertise: Develop and execute SQL test cases and scripts for data validation and verification.
3. Python Scripting: Utilize Python scripts for automation and data testing tasks.
4. Airflow Integration: Work with Airflow for scheduling and monitoring data workflows.
5. Data Warehousing: Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data is properly ingested, transformed, and loaded within data warehousing platforms such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or DataBriks.
6. ETL Production Support: Provide support for ETL production processes, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
7. Alerts and Monitoring: Set up and maintain ETL alerts and monitoring systems to proactively identify and address data issues.
8. AWS ETL Tool Stack: Utilize the AWS ETL tool stack for data processing and transformation.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

1. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in data quality testing, with a strong focus on ETL testing.
2. SQL Proficiency: Profound proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.
3. ETL Testing Concepts: Strong understanding of ETL testing methodologies and best practices.
4. Python Skills: Familiarity with Python scripting for automation and data validation.
5. Airflow Knowledge: Experience working with Airflow for scheduling and monitoring data workflows.
6. Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing platforms like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or DataBriks.
7. ETL Production Support: Previous experience in ETL production support roles.
8. Alerts and Monitoring: Capability to set up and maintain alerts and monitoring systems.
9. AWS ETL Tool Stack: Familiarity with AWS ETL tool stack for data processing.
