ForwardEye Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, with a focus on telecommunications-grade solutions. You will have the opportunity to work remotely and in a hybrid mode, with the option to be based in Bangalore.

- Utilize your extensive testing experience to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Apply strong technical skills and hands-on experience to execute testing tasks effectively.
- Leverage your prior knowledge of mediation domains and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to enhance testing processes.
- Perform software testing on telecommunications-grade products.
- Utilize testing frameworks such as Selenium and Robot for efficient testing.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct various types of testing, including installation, upgrade, performance, load, and robustness testing.
- Exhibit proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, VMWare, and OpenStack.
- Possess in-depth working experience with cloud-native, microservices, and container architectures, as well as DevOps principles.
- Showcase expertise in Python scripting and the use of tracing tools like Wireshark and tShark.
- Use JMeter and automation frameworks to optimize testing processes.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Work collaboratively within Agile, DevOps, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Gain exposure to streaming technologies.
- Familiarity with databases, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Adopt a proactive “getting things done” attitude with a strong hands-on mentality.
- Utilize your hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, Robot Framework, Bash scripting, and Python.
- Have user-level experience with Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and SCM tools like GitLab.
- Conduct performance testing and benchmarking to optimize product performance.
- Possess knowledge of Bare-metal and CNF (Cloud-Native Network Function) deployments.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Strong experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
