Job Summary:

We are seeking talented ETL Big Data Testing professionals with 3-8 years of experience to join our team in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, or Bangalore. As an ETL Big Data Testing Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of data integration processes, identifying defects, and validating the accuracy and completeness of data transformations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL processes, including data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of data transformations and data loading.
• Perform data validation and verification to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data in the target system.
• Identify, report, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and ensure that testing activities align with project objectives.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate test cases, streamline testing processes, and improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis for test failures and work towards continuous improvement of testing practices.
• Generate test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress, defect metrics, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the ETL and Big Data testing domain.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3-8 years in ETL testing, specifically in the Big Data ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, data integration, and data migration processes.
• Experience with ETL testing tools and frameworks, such as Informatica, Ab Initio, Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and verification.
• Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, HBase, or other Big Data technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or Shell scripting, for test automation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• ISTQB or any other relevant testing certification is a plus.
