Position: Senior QA Lead
Notice: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and become proficient in the product.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Participate in design discussions and provide timely feedback.
- Ensure the successful deployment of products.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Conduct training sessions and quizzes with the team.
- Groom and train young talents.
- Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, weekly team planning meetings, and application demos.
- Be available to stand by during weekends for support in case of any unplanned business-critical issues.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to test APIs.
- Good exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Katalon, Postman, and JMeter.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets.
- Very good experience in automation testing frameworks.
- Exposure to Jira and test management tools.
- Hands-on experience in SQL and MongoDB.
- Exposure to the Spring framework and JavaScript frameworks will be a huge plus.
- Exposure to web development will be a huge plus.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
