Position: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Testing)

Location: Mumbai (Work from Office)

QualityKiosk Technologies, a leading software testing and quality assurance company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled SDET to join our incredible team of professionals. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. We are looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience, strong knowledge of Java, JEE internals, Kotlin, and expertise in test-driven development.

Job Description:

• Java and JEE Internals: Possess knowledge of Java and JEE internals, including concepts such as class loading, memory management, and transaction management. Use this knowledge to analyze and optimize code performance and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Object-Oriented Programming: Demonstrate a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and principles. Utilize this understanding to develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable test scripts and frameworks.
• MVC, JDBC, and RESTful: Familiarity with concepts of Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), and RESTful web services. Apply these concepts to design and execute tests that cover various layers of the application stack.
• Test-Driven Development: Experience with test-driven development (TDD) methodologies. Collaborate closely with development teams to create testable code and design comprehensive test suites that ensure code quality and meet project requirements.
• Code Flow Analysis: Assess and understand the flow of code and its interaction with various processes, both upstream and downstream. Identify potential risks and ensure seamless integration with third-party applications.
• Process Improvement: Document processes and client demands to identify areas for process improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and streamline testing processes for better efficiency and productivity.
• Issue Management: Log, manage, and track issues and cases throughout the software development lifecycle. Work closely with development teams and project stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimize impact on the overall project timeline.
• Manual Regression Testing: Perform manual regression testing to validate the application’s functionality and identify any potential issues. Develop test cases, execute them, and document test results to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Bug Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot bugs and other issues on mobile, desktop, and web-based platforms. Conduct in-depth analysis of issues, identify root causes, and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Test Automation: Test automation builds, execute test scripts, and troubleshoot automation issues. Develop and maintain automation frameworks, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with project requirements.
• Performance Testing: Possess knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies. Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, stability, and responsiveness. Use performance testing tools to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks.
• Multiskilling: Proficient in at least one core skillset, either performance or automation testing. Willingness to work in other areas as per project demands, including manual testing or core testing responsibilities.
