Position: QA Automation Lead

Location: Navalur, OMR – Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy: You will define and propose the test strategy for our projects. Your understanding of project requirements, industry best practices, and risk assessment will contribute to the development of an effective test strategy.
• Test Implementation: You will implement new and modify existing tests using automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, REST-assured, Cucumber, Java, JUnit, and TestNG. Your expertise in these tools will ensure the accurate and efficient execution of automated tests.
• UI and API Automation: You will ensure appropriate UI and API automation coverage. Your knowledge of UI and API automation frameworks and best practices will enable you to design and implement comprehensive and robust test cases.
• Troubleshooting: You will investigate and troubleshoot test results to identify and resolve issues. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help in identifying root causes and providing effective solutions.
• Documentation: You will document execution procedures for existing manual and automated tests. Your documentation skills will contribute to the maintenance of a comprehensive test repository and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Test Execution: You will execute existing tests to generate baseline reports. Your ability to analyze and interpret test results will provide valuable insights into the quality and stability of our software products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4-8 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong technical skills in automation testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Appium, REST-assured, Cucumber, Java, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing automation test cases for UI and API testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable.
