Position: Software Test Engineer (Manual Testing)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Software Test Engineers (Manual Testing). This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to kickstart their careers in the field of software testing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirement analysis to understand the software functionality and system requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive test cases and test scripts based on the software requirements.
• Execute manual testing to validate the functionality of the software.
• Identify and report defects, ensuring accurate and detailed defect reporting.
• Track and monitor defects throughout the testing lifecycle to closure.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug issues.
• Participate in test plan reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software testing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Post-graduation in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management systems.

Experience:

• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in software testing is preferred but not mandatory.
