Position: QA Tester (Selenium + Java)

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand software requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts using Selenium with Java.
• Perform manual testing to supplement automated testing efforts and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects, ensuring the highest level of software quality.
• Work closely with the development team to investigate and troubleshoot reported defects, facilitating their timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite, incorporating new features and technologies as needed.
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement effective testing strategies and test plans.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved and retested in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle by suggesting process enhancements and quality initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Selenium with Java.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in writing efficient and maintainable test scripts using Java.
• Experience in testing web applications across different browsers and platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of database testing and SQL.
