Position: QA Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad/Baroda, India

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand software requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Perform manual testing to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scripts to verify the software’s behavior and ensure it meets the defined specifications.
• Conduct API testing to validate the integration and communication between different software components.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring they are resolved and retested in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the development team to investigate and troubleshoot reported defects, facilitating their timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify and report defects, ensuring the highest level of software quality.
• Continuously enhance and maintain the automation test suite, incorporating new features and technologies as needed.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement effective testing strategies and test plans.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in QA testing and automation.

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
• Experience in API testing to ensure the integration and communication between software components.
• Proficiency in developing and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Immediate joiner preferred.
