Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Noida, India
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated tests, analyze the results, and identify any defects or issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Participate in the design and review of test cases, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for automation, streamlining test execution, and enhancing test coverage.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to automation testing.
- Document test results, create test reports, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members, when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years in QA automation, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Java programming and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools, such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- ISTQB certification or any other relevant certifications will be a plus.
