Position: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Noida, India

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
• Execute automated tests, analyze the results, and identify any defects or issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Participate in the design and review of test cases, ensuring coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve the QA process by identifying areas for automation, streamlining test execution, and enhancing test coverage.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to automation testing.
• Document test results, create test reports, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior team members, when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 1-2 years in QA automation, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools, such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• ISTQB certification or any other relevant certifications will be a plus.
