Position: Guidewire Tester/Automation Tester

Location: Kolkata

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Automation Testing: Perform automation testing using Ruby, Selenium with Java to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.
• Automation Experience: Possess a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Work with automation testing frameworks like TDD and BDD using Cucumber.
• Guidewire Application Automation: Experience in automating Guidewire applications is an added advantage.
• End-to-End Test Automation: Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation for applications, considering concepts and design patterns.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Test Lifecycle Management: Understand and manage the end-to-end test lifecycle, including estimations, planning, strategy, scenarios, cases, execution, coordination, and reporting.
• Execute Automated Test Scripts: Execute automated test scripts and evaluate the results.
• Java and IDE Experience: Possess experience with Java and development in IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse.
• REST API Exposure: Exposure to Rest API testing is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) or Master’s degree (M.Tech / MCA / MBA) in a relevant field.
• 3 to 7 years of professional experience in automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing using Ruby and Selenium with Java.
• Experience in automation testing frameworks like TDD and BDD using Cucumber.
• Familiarity with Guidewire applications and automation.
• Experience in developing and maintaining end-to-end test automation for applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Understanding of the E2E test lifecycle and its management.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Exposure to Rest API testing is beneficial.
