Position: QA Automation Test Engineer

Location: Chennai/ Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing automated test scripts: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Selenium, ensuring efficient and effective testing of software applications.
• Test planning and strategy: Collaborate with the project team to define test objectives, create test plans, and develop testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Test case execution: Execute automated test scripts, identify and document defects, and track issues using defect tracking tools.
• Test data management: Design and manage test data sets, ensuring the availability of valid and relevant data for testing purposes.
• Test environment setup: Configure and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations, to ensure accurate testing conditions.
• Test reporting and documentation: Prepare test reports, including test execution summaries, defect reports, and status updates, and maintain detailed documentation of test activities and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the testing process.
• Continuously improve testing processes: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the automation testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3 to 9 years of professional experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience in automation testing using Java Selenium.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
