Position: Automation Tester

Location: Hyderabad

MOURI Tech is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation testing, with expertise in Selenium, Java coding, API testing, and DB testing. Knowledge of AWS is also desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and ensure the quality of software solutions.
• Develop and implement automation test strategies, frameworks, and test scripts using Selenium with Java, ensuring efficient and effective testing.
• Conduct API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of software systems.
• Perform database testing, including data validation, data integrity, and data migration testing.
• Utilize industry-standard testing tools and frameworks to automate test scenarios, streamline the testing process, and improve test coverage.
• Execute manual testing as needed, ensuring thorough coverage of test scenarios and effective defect identification.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing detailed bug reports and suggestions for improvement.
• Continuously enhance and optimize the automation testing framework, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing, sharing knowledge and contributing to the improvement of the overall testing practice within the organization.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defects to project teams and management.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with established testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• 6 to 10 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on Selenium.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium with Java, with hands-on experience in developing and executing automation test scripts.
• Solid understanding of automation testing frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Experience in API testing, including knowledge of RESTful APIs, testing tools, and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in database testing, including SQL queries, data validation, and data migration testing.
• Knowledge of AWS services and its integration with testing frameworks (knowledge is fine, hands-on experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
