Position: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Mumbai

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through automated testing. Responsibilities:
- Conduct automation testing to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, a popular test automation tool.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate test plans.
- Design and implement automation frameworks such as keywords, Page Object Model (POM), and Hybrid frameworks.
- Perform manual testing and analysis to identify defects and troubleshoot issues.
- Write and execute test cases, track defects, and report test results to the project team.
- Utilize JavaScript and other scripting languages to enhance automation test scripts.
- Maintain and update test automation scripts as necessary to reflect changes in the application under test.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in the design and development of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation methodologies and tools.
- Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress and issues to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS (BE, BSc, BCA) or MCA in IT/CS.
- Strong knowledge and experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium or Test Complete.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing test scripts.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification in manual/automated testing.
- Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic queries.
- Good understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good IQ.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks (keywords, POM, Hybrid).
- Basic knowledge of Java or JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience in testing e-commerce applications is a plus.
