Position: Senior Quality Engineer – Automation

Location: Noida

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer – Automation to join our dynamic team in Noida. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development and testing teams to understand project requirements and create effective test plans and strategies.
• Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java and other relevant programming languages.
• Conduct white box testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Appium, etc., to automate test cases and streamline the testing process.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.
• Identify and report defects, issues, and potential risks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the QA team to continuously enhance the overall testing process.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of the test automation framework and infrastructure.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on white box testing using Java.
• Extensive experience in automating test cases using tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Appium, etc.
• Proficiency in tools like Playwright, Puppeteer, and WDIO is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of tools like Jenkins, TestNG, Maven, and JIRA.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and hands-on experience with Java.
• Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test strategies and plans.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
