Senior Functional Tester – Payments Domain (6-9 years)

About the team:

It’s an amazing opportunity to join a Talented team of innovative and committed folks doing interesting work at the world’s largest global provider dedicated to financial technology solutions. This position will be with professional services team, working on client funded projects.

What you will be doing:

  • Understand business requirements; Understand use cases, develop test cases.
  • Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Understanding of concepts of different types of testing
  • Correlate business scenarios with test cases
  • Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
  • Controls and manages own daily test activities.
  • Provides internal quality assurance.
  • Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Organizes and maintains the test script library.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:

Must exhibit

  • Overall 5-9 years of Functional / Non Functional Testing
  • Hands on experience in Automation testing with selenium/any automation tool
  • Experience in Payment products like Connex/IST Switch, MAS, Clearing/Data Navigator
  • Knowledge on FinSim, OTS or any other simulators (Mastercard, VTS etc.,)
  • Knowledge of ISO8583
  • Knowledge of databases
  • Testing knowledge on latest UI/UX framework. Good knowledge on developing tests and analyzing test data and results.
  • Good exposure to test management and should be able to maintain metrics.
  • Experience in Web services or API testing using tools like SOAP UI or Postman
