This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the software development lifecycle and the chance to develop your skills in software testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Perform manual testing of software products to identify and report defects and issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and functionalities.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure that software enhancements and bug fixes do not adversely impact existing features.
- Gain understanding of basic coding technologies to assist in troubleshooting and identifying software issues.
- Participate in the analysis and documentation of test results and defects.
- Work with the technical support team to provide prompt and efficient resolutions to customer-reported issues.
- Learn and adapt to the company’s quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge in manual testing methodologies and techniques.
- Basic understanding of coding technologies, such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
