Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, and maintain test cases, approaches, and plans to ensure comprehensive test coverage for our software products.
  • Facilitate the use of automated testing at various levels, including unit, functional, integration, and system testing, to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the scrum team to ensure that all work for each sprint is thoroughly tested and certified as production-ready by the end of each sprint.
  • Maintain metrics related to defects and provide a first line of triage for supporting features previously released by the team.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes and protocols to enhance the overall quality of our products.
  • Utilize strong experience in both manual and automation testing to identify potential issues and ensure robust testing.
  • Have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in testing, with a focus on 3+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium/UFT on .Net applications.
  • Conduct API manual testing using Swagger and API automation testing using Postman tool (using JavaScript).
  • Be familiar with development environments using .Net, SQL Server, and Web services.
  • Possess mandatory experience in database (DB) testing to validate data integrity and accuracy.
  • Continuously explore, understand, and drive the usage of the latest technologies that can extend testing capabilities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in both manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on Selenium/UFT for .Net applications.
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of testing experience and 3+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium/UFT.
  • Experience in API manual testing using Swagger and API automation testing using Postman tool (using JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with development environments using .Net, SQL Server, and Web services.
  • Mandatory experience in database (DB) testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and reporting defects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively within a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement.
