Position: Manual/Automation Tester
Location: Pune
Job Summary: Finaleap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual/Automation Tester to join our team in Pune. As a Manual/Automation Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop test strategies, design test cases, execute tests, and report defects. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and plans.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
- Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure the overall quality of software releases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking systems, and verify fixes.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify software defects and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues, providing detailed bug reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports on test progress, product quality, and any potential risks.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the testing team, providing technical expertise and support.
Requirements:
- 3-10 years of experience as a Manual/Automation Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing, including designing and executing test cases and developing automated test scripts.
- Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience in database testing.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
