Position: QA Tester
Location: Bangalore, India
Playgig, a leading gaming company, is currently hiring for the position of QA Tester. We are seeking individuals with strong experience as a Game QA Tester or professional Game QA Tester experience with proven ownership of one or more test areas/releases. This position is based in Bangalore, India. If you have the required skills and experience.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong experience as a Game QA Tester or professional Game QA Tester experience with proven ownership of one or more test areas/releases.
- Experience in executing QA testing operations with Production Team and other Departments.
- Ability to write and execute test plans.
- Understanding of game creation and development process.
- Experience in at least one bug-tracking software and ability to create detailed and efficient documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual functional testing across the company’s PC, web, and mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and Consoles.
- Execute QA testing operations such as Dev Testing, LiveOps Production testing, Development testing functionality, Manual Testing, smoke tests, Unit Testing, regression, and additional ad hoc tests.
- Test on multiple devices, both in the development and production phases.
- Create detailed and efficient documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production Team and other Departments, to ensure high-quality game releases.
- Participate in the game creation and development process, providing valuable insights and feedback.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes throughout the testing cycle.
IMPORTANT: This is an On-site position at our Studio in Bengaluru – India. Working hours 2PM -11PM IST.
