As a QA (Manual Testing) professional at Wise Software Solutions, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive manual testing to validate the functionality and performance of our software applications. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans.
- Test Case Design: Develop clear and well-structured test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Test Execution: Execute manual test cases to validate software functionalities, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects using established defect tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Test Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test data, and test results.
- Test Reporting: Generate comprehensive test reports, providing test results and insights to project stakeholders and management.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet high-quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the overall improvement of product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proven experience in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
