Position: QA Role (Manual Testing) Experience: 4+ years

Location: Remote / Work From Home

Sulopa Technologies, a leading technology company, is currently offering a permanent Work From Home opportunity for a skilled QA professional with expertise in Manual Testing. We are seeking an individual contributor with at least 4+ years of experience in manual testing. If you have a strong background in manual testing, including test case design, test execution, defect management, and experience with test management tools like HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS, we invite you to apply for this role. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform hands-on manual testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
  2. Design and execute test cases, considering business requirements and functional specifications.
  3. Manage the end-to-end test process, including test case design, test execution, and daily reporting.
  4. Follow the defect process, including defect registration and tracking, to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Utilize test management tools like HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS to manage test cases, defects, and test execution.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and validate software functionality.
  7. Collaborate with Agile teams, actively participating in Agile ceremonies and following Agile methodologies.
  8. Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, escalate issues, and ensure project success.
  9. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, suggesting process enhancements and sharing best practices.
  10. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in manual testing methodologies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an individual contributor in manual testing.
  3. Strong hands-on experience in manual testing, including test case design, test execution, and daily reporting.
  4. Proficiency in the defect management process, including defect registration and tracking.
  5. Experience with test management tools such as HP-ALM, JIRA, or TFS (proficiency in at least one tool is required).
  6. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  8. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  9. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
  10. Ability to work remotely and effectively manage work priorities and deadlines.
