Job Summary: As a QA – Manual + Automation Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will include executing test scripts, reporting progress and defects daily, and managing the overall quality assurance process. You will work closely with senior IT management and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products. Your expertise in JavaScript, manual testing, and automation testing will be vital in creating thorough test plans and test cases to validate software functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manual and Automation Testing: Utilize your expertise in manual and automation testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage and verify the functionality and performance of our software products.
2. JavaScript Proficiency: Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with JavaScript to effectively design and execute test scripts.
3. QA Management: Take ownership of the QA process and ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with senior IT management and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide testing insights, and deliver high-quality products.
5. Test Planning and Documentation: Demonstrate an organized approach to maintaining documentation and databases, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
6. Test Case Creation: Analyze requirements and technical specifications to create thorough test cases that cover all relevant scenarios.
7. Defect Reporting: Accurately report defects and issues, track them through their lifecycle, and work with the development team to facilitate their resolution.
8. Software Testing Life Cycle: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of the software testing life cycle to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QA, with a strong background in both manual and automation testing.
2. JavaScript Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript is a must, with the ability to create and execute test scripts.
3. Independent Problem Solver: Demonstrated ability to independently interpret requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
4. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to maintain documentation and databases efficiently.
5. Collaborative Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior IT management.
6. Communication: Excellent communication skills to report progress, defects, and testing insights effectively.
